A little about me
Looking for a career change, Kylie Pogue was drawn to her rural administration role because it uses her organisation and attention-to-detail skills perfectly.
She joined the real estate industry in 2016, having worked as a sub-editor for 18 years in the “Shepparton News” real estate and “Country News” sections.
“I love helping the agents and customers with their requests and co-ordinating the rural advertising – which probably also comes from my work for four years at the Shepparton Private Hospital as a receptionist and theatre-bookings administrator.
“I like learning something new every day. This is a busy environment, but I love that. I really like the team at Kevin Hicks Real Estate; my work colleagues are supportive and positive and it’s a really professional group. Learning the role and doing it to the best of my ability are up there with my favourite real estate moments.”
Keen on fitness, Kylie is often in a gym class or out walking in the fresh air.
“I love the climate in the Goulburn Valley. There’s also so much diversity – in the progressive schools here, in the excellent secondary and tertiary education on offer, and the range of sports.”
“My close family lives here and I’ve made some really wonderful friends. Shepparton has been a great place to bring up my two daughters.”
